Adding units

A unit (the flat, villa, or studio itself) and a lease (who's renting it, and for how much) are two separate steps.

1

Add the unit

Tap "+ Add Unit" and give it a number/name (e.g. "12A" or "Villa 3"), a type (House, Flat, Studio, Villa, or your own custom type), and optionally a floor and bedroom count.

2

Lease it to a tenant

Tap the vacant unit to open a lease — tenant name, mobile, monthly rent, deposit, an optional monthly maintenance fee, and the lease start date. The unit flips to Occupied automatically once a lease exists.

3

Backdating a lease start? It backfills invoices

If the lease start date is in the past, Claybricks generates the missing months' invoices for you (up to 12 months back), with a warning if you go further than that.
